Medically Supervised Weight Management Program

Medically Supervised Weight Management Program
We offer comprehensive, physician-supervised medical weight management programs using FDA-approved weight-management medications that help regulate appetite, improve blood sugar control, and enhance metabolism for long-term results. We address weight loss for those with medical conditions like diabetes or hormonal imbalances, as well as those seeking to eliminate stubborn fat. This isn't merely appetite suppression. Our approach focuses on lifestyle adjustment through healthy eating habits, appropriate exercise, proper sleep, and macro management. We distinguish our clinically supervised approach, including microdosing, monitoring, and lifestyle integration, from a single-medication, retail-style model.

A structured, medically supervised path to sustainable weight loss
Initial consultation, comprehensive lab work (arranged via primary care or a third-party lab), and health assessment to determine the right medication for you.
Start with a low dose via weekly subcutaneous injection, preferably at night on an empty stomach (2+ hours after meals).
Regular appointments to track progress, adjust dosing, and provide nutritional and exercise guidance over 4-12 months.
When within 5-10 lbs of goal weight, we begin gradual weaning with 4-8 week cycling to maintain receptor sensitivity.
Comprehensive baseline panel, arranged through your primary care provider or a third-party lab
Evaluates kidney and liver function, blood sugar, and electrolyte balance for safe medication use.
Measures red and white blood cells to ensure overall health before starting treatment.
Provides a 3-month average of blood sugar levels to assess diabetes risk and metabolic health.
Measures insulin resistance, a key factor in weight management and metabolic function.
Checks for deficiency that can impact energy levels and medication effectiveness.
Evaluates cholesterol and triglycerides to monitor cardiovascular health during weight loss.
Assesses vitamin D status, which influences energy, immunity, and metabolic health.
TSH, Free T3, Free T4, and Reflex T3 to evaluate thyroid function and metabolic rate.
Minimum 3 days weekly of weight resistance training to maintain muscle mass and metabolic rate.
Daily macro tracking and healthy eating habits to sustain your results long-term.
Supervised weaning prevents receptor stress and organ strain. Labs monitor safety.
Commitment to protocols, repeat labs, and our wellness values, not a quick-fix mentality.
Required labs include Comprehensive Metabolic Panel with GFR, Complete Blood Count with Differential, Hemoglobin A1C, Fasting Insulin, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Lipid Panel, TSH, Free T3, Free T4, and Reflex T3. We add hormone and inflammatory panels when clinically necessary. Labs are completed out of office through your primary care provider or a third-party lab, typically $90–$250 depending on the panel. Repeat labs at 6 months.
Subcutaneous injection once weekly, preferably at night on an empty stomach (2+ hours after eating). We train you on proper injection technique during your appointment.
Most patients use peptides for 4-8 months, some for one year. We cycle patients off for 4-8 weeks to maintain receptor sensitivity. Gradual weaning begins when you're 5-10 lbs from your goal weight.
Most common: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, constipation, abdominal pain, typically improving with time. Our microdosing approach minimizes these effects. Serious but rare: pancreatitis, gallbladder complications. Contraindicated for those with personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2 syndrome.
These medications are not covered by insurance for weight loss. Type 2 diabetics should consult their primary care physician regarding insurance coverage for diabetes management.
We continually monitor pharmacy pricing and adjust ours as compounding pharmacies lower their prices, passing the savings on to you with a longer supply duration per vial. Pricing is subject to change based on the legality and structure of compounding pharmacies; we partner only with 503A and 503B approved compounding pharmacies.
Weight regain is possible without lifestyle modifications. Muscle maintenance requires minimum 3 days weekly weight resistance training, daily macro tracking, adequate hydration, and optimized sleep. We provide medical oversight during weaning to prevent receptor stress.
Patients who commit to lifestyle adjustments, follow protocols, complete repeat labs, and align with our prevention and wellness values. We reject quick-fix mentality in favor of sustainable health transformation. We do not prescribe to "just anyone."
